TEAM 413 - Knoxville 2010

After a weekend off for my daughter's wedding, we'll be back on the road again next weekend at the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon. Kiki and I will be at the TEAM 413 Expo booth on Saturday, March 27 from 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Please make sure you stop by and say hello if you are going to be in Knoxville.

I've had the opportunity to be a part of the Knoxville Marathon several times in the past. They put on a great event. The expo is well done and the race course is unique in that it runs along the streets of Knoxville, through a greenbelt, and then ends at the 50 yard line of Neyland Stadium. You can even check yourself out on the huge Jumbotron as your finish your journey. It's one of those races that's really a "must do."

I'll be speaking at the expo seminar at 10:00 AM on Saturday. Being the first speaker of the day always makes me a bit nervous! I'll either have a big crowd OR no one at all! Our plan is to talk about common running injuries for a few minutes and then share about some of our experiences with TEAM 413. Combining COMMON RUNNING INJURIES and FAITH ON THE RUN will be a unique opportunity. We'll leave time for questions at the end of the presentation. I'll also be signing copies of our book, GRACERUNNER - FAITH ON THE RUN, at the end of my talk and at our TEAM 413 booth all day.

Please pray for us this week as we deal with some tough circumstances. We know that God will be glorified and that TEAM 413 will be used in a mighty way in the days ahead.
